About Tricia Sample

Tricia Sample enjoys and respects the Internet because of its capacity to unite people in helpful, creative, and loving ways. She is an Internet entrepreneur. Like you, she abhors spam, scams and negative sites/blogs produced by folks wasting all of our time. Tricia believes that in everything good triumphs over bad and the web will continue getting better and better & more and more positive.

Tricia is a masters prepared artist and registered art therapist who worked in hospice for over 12 years. She began her hospice career as a trained volunteer. Eventually she was employed in the positions of Bereavement Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator, and ArtsCare Coordinator. Her hospice experience also includes loving and caring for her parents who were hospice patients at the same time and died four months apart.

The hospice patients and families Tricia was honored to be with and learn from will forever be in her heart and prayers. She would like the hospice staff and volunteers she worked with over the years to know of her respect and admiration of their important work. All of these people are inspiration for her Loving Farewells grief support programs.

Currently Tricia and two friends/colleagues from the hospice years are writing about their experiences. These retrospective writings provide a unique view into the arenas of death, grief and life. They hope to publish their words for the benefit of all who seek understanding and a fuller, more positive and contributive life.

Tricia’s passions in life are (in alphabetical order) animals, art, people and spirituality. She knows the powerful connection between creativity & healing and wants to teach grievers how to connect with their instinctive personal creativity.

Other professional work environments for Tricia have been an employment training program, university level art departments and a forensic psychiatric hospital. In the last few years she has been self-employed presenting workshops and trainings on spirituality and art. Most recently Tricia has become an Advanced Quantum Biofeedback practitioner using the SCIO energy medicine computerized program. She is certified by the Natural Therapies Certification Board.

Tricia grew up in Nebraska, lived briefly in Colorado, Alabama and Illinois, and has been at home in Florida for many years. Her alma maters are the University of Nebraska and the University of Florida.

She sincerely hopes the Loving Farewells grief support materials help many people feel better sooner and realize they can have a future life better than they ever imagined.
